Q: What is the Display ID?
A: The display ID is used to uniquely identify your display. The display ID can be viewed in the browser-based management console by clicking on the specific display in the topological map view.

Q: Why is my display not showing the media properly?
A: It is a good chance that you have not yet installed the required media codecs. Please check the minimum software requirements in the forum here.

Q: Why is my display only showing the sample media?
A: It is likely that your display hardware does not have internet connection or it lost internect connectivity.

Q: Can I show the content on multiple displays?
A: Yes you can. You can use multiple video cards or you can use HDMI type extenders to multiple displays. Please note that if your extender cables are long, you may need to reduce the screen resolution due to degradation of the video signal over a long cable.

Q: Why is my ANTS client showing the synchronization screen for a long time?
A: It is likely that you have very large media files for download to the client or your internet connection speed is very slow.

Q: Why I can't sign in to my ANTS service account?
A: Please check your email including the junk email inbox for an activation email from us. Please click on the activation button or link to activate your account. If you forgot your password, simply enter the email address you used to sign up the account and we will send you an email to reset your password.

Q: Can I add other users to my service account?
A: No yet in the free version of the service.

Q: What are the 3 key steps to getting a display up and running:
A: First, you need to add a display from the management console. Second you need to install the ANTS client software and configure it on a Windows-based PC. Third, you need to create a layout template and add the layout along with media items into a playlist, and then schedule the playlist.

Q: Can I have different display template layouts in a playlist?
A: Yes you can. Create new layouts under "My Library" -> "My Layouts" and just drag and drop these layout templates into your playlist. You can have multiple layouts in the same playlist.
